Facebook Releases 2014 Year in Review


2014 has been a busy year, from events to outbreaks and breaking news the year seemed to just fly right by. As usual most of the discussion surrounding these events happen online.

Facebook—the social media platform we all love to hate released their annual Year in Review Wednesday, a look at this year’s most popular people, places and things. The data used to compile the list is based on Facebook posts from January to December 2014, and measured in over 200 countries.

The list also included the most-visited places in Canada, measured by Facebook’s popular check-in feature.
