Summerlicious Heats Up T.O.

One of Toronto’s most popular festivals begins July 4th with foodies across the GTA eager to dine at some of Toronto’s hottest eateries.

Summerlicious and its sister program Winterlicious, began in 2003 with only 35 participating restaurants. The festival has since grown in popularity and now boasts more than 200 participating restaurants spanning a variety of cuisines.

Restaurants across the city will offer prix fixe specials for lunch, dinner or both. Depending on the restaurant, prices range from $15-$45 for a 3-course meal. This is a great opportunity to check out some of the city’s best restaurants that ordinarily may be out of your price range.

If Mediterranean food is what your craving 93 Harbord is the perfect spot for you. This authentic eatery offers a $25, 3-course dinner  with a lot great vegetarian options.

Visit Harlem if you’re looking for some Southern-style cuisine with a modern twist.  The intimate restaurant offers both lunch and dinner specials with a menu that features everything from fried chicken & waffles to jambalaya.

Rock Lobster

New to Summerlicious this year Lamesa is looking to take traditional Filipino cuisine and modernize it for mainstream tastebuds.  The downtown resto is offering a $25 dinner menu, with foods like Sarsi Sticky Ribs and a decadent chocolate cheesecake for dessert.
